Add another plus the Triple H regime! For the first time in six years (I believe) Survivor Series isn’t Raw vs SmackDown. That my friends is awesome. It was cool the first year, maybe the second year was too, but after that it made for a very dull November PPV, especially once they started having the draft in October every year. That alone makes this a show I want to watch, then throw in WarGames and damn…it feels like Survivor Series is apart of the “Big Four” again.
One thing I’m confused about though is I thought The Miz and Dexter Lumis were going to have a match with the stipulation being if Dexter won he would get a WWE contract, what happened to that one? I can’t seem to find any information as to why that match isn’t happening anymore.
If it were me I’d start the show off with this match, I’d have also saved it for WrestleMania 39 too but I’m sure both of these guys will have something good going on come WrestleMania season. Who knows, maybe they’ll keep it going until WrestleMania.
I see Balor winning, however, I don’t have a good reason as to why. I feel like there’s still unfinished business with Edge/Beth Phoenix and The Judgment Day but I think Edge is going to end up costing Balor something with a little more stakes, possibly the Royal Rumble or the United States Championship.

Up until I watched other peoples predictions, I figured Rollins would retain but someone made a convincing case for Theory winning which made me rethink this match. I still think Rollins will win but I’m definitely intrigued with Austin Theory’s new character.
The theory…pun definitely intended..is that every loss makes him fall deeper into the dark side. Losing the Money in the Bank was merely the catalyst for his downward spiral. That’s certainly an innovative way of using the briefcase that I don’t think has been done before so I’m naturally a fan. Rollins is going to win but Theory has a chance, I don’t see Lashley winning though.
Maybe Brock Lesnar will interfere, cost Lashley the match, Seth wins, and Theory snaps, taking out his frustrations out on an already injured Bobby Lashley. That would make for an effective use of time.

I think the heel side’s got this one and I think it’s going to be Rhea getting the pinfall on Belair. I think that’s the WrestleMania match for the Raw Women’s Championship.
I think it’s quite possible that Alexa is fully taken back over by Bray Wyatt in this too. Something along the lines of the lights going out, fireflies being incorporated somehow, a couple of quick images on the screen, and when the lights come back on Alexa is visibly under a hypnotic trance. She stops fighting, climbs out of the cage, and walks to the back.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t seen many WarGames matches but I do know that the heel side almost always gets the advantage so I’m interested in seeing this unusual dynamic. I think we’ll see a backstage angle where Jey is told by Roman that he’s starting the match (as a punishment) but Sami steps in and says he’ll start the match instead. After the babyfaces find out Zayn is starting the match Owens says he’ll start for his team.
I’m thinking it’s going to be Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs The Usos at WrestleMania this year and Sheamus is going to challenge Roman Reigns for the title at the Royal Rumble. I’m still hoping we’re going to see Roman vs The Rock at WrestleMania but if not Sheamus might be plan B.
I’m having trouble deciding if it’s going to be Kevin Owens or Sheamus getting the win and if they’ll be pinning Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, or Roman Reigns. Any combination of those outcomes leads to some good stories though so it should make for a wonderful match.
