So here we are, the first set of predictions since beginning my training as a professional wrestler. I’ve been learning quite a lot, none of which I’m allowed to discuss, but I will say that the ring effing hurts in the best way possible.
Having said that, even though I’m now apart (a small part mind you) of the business, I’m writing these predictions strictly from a fans perspective.
Starting off on a humorous note, I can see this match being nothing but audio since it’s a pitch black match. I can see there being sound effects such as cracking open a can of soda or twisting open a bottle of soda. Also, this may very well end up being a soda drinking contest or maybe there’s a vat of Mountain Dew Pitch Black that Bray Wyatt or LA Knight fall into and it transforms them into something out of this world…kinda like how they created The Joker in Batman (1989).
Maybe, just maybe the end of the match is the lights go out or flicker or whatever and when they come back on both guys have turned into bottles of Mountain Dew Pitch Black that are drank by Wyatt’s puppet friends which in turn causes them to quadruple in size kinda like the Monstars in Space Jam.
I doubt very much that Bray Wyatt will lose his first match in WWE since WrestleMania 37 but I can see it ending in a draw because some weird shit happens. There’s no chance of LA Knight winning this…like zero chance.
Prediction: Bray Wyatt
Speaking of Bray Wyatt, I can see Bliss becoming completely under Wyatt’s/Uncle Howdy’s control starting this night. Due to Wyatt’s/Uncle Howdy’s involvement Bliss will not win the title…more on that below.
Prediction: Bianca Belair
These fella’s are tied at one win apiece at the Royal Rumble. Kevin retained the Universal Championship in 2017 and Roman retained the Universal Championship in 2021. Given the current landscape, I figure Reigns will retain, but holy smokes am I excited for this rubber match. There are so many directions that this could go and so many different routes that can be taken to get to WrestleMania.
Its almost guaranteed to be a great match as well, these two have fantastic chemistry and they always manage to go above and beyond to deliver in the ring. In a a word, I’m psyched for this match, maybe more than I should be.
Prediction: Roman Reigns
I’m fairly certain this will be Rhea Ripley’s year…I can’t really think of anyone else who has a really good chance of winning. Because of that I’m much more excited for the women’s rumble than the mens, there’s more of a surprise factor.
Maybe Uncle Howdy costs Alexa the Raw Women’s Title only to turn around and cause her to win the Rumble. Then he says something like “The Rumble was the wrong time but WrestleMania will be the right time.”
Prediction: Rhea Ripley
Fairly certain that it’s going to be either Cody Rhodes or Sami Zayn however a convincing case could be made for The Rock or Seth “Freakin” Rollins as well. Personally I think it’s going to be Cody’s year but I can see Roman defending one title on night one and the other on night two.
There’s another possibility that I haven’t heard anyone discuss and that is CM Punk returning to WWE. I think it’s a gigantic long shot but never say never. I think I’ll go with the safe bet and say Cody Rhodes.
